The door opens, you take your first steps outside, and the journey begins. No cars, no planning, no detours. At THOMSN, summer starts right on your doorstep.
If you’d rather not explore the region on your own, you can always join a guided tour. As part of its activity program, THOMSN offers regular guided tours. It’s the perfect way to discover new trails or simply enjoy a relaxing outing.
The Saalbach Hinterglemm Tourism Association also organizes guided hikes, some of which are included with the JOKER CARD.
Saalbach Hinterglemm is made for days in the mountains. For long hikes across multiple peaks, for quiet trails with views, and for spontaneous walks in between. It is precisely this diversity that makes it so special.
The Tristkogel is one of the most striking peaks in the Glemmtal Valley—and that’s exactly why it’s a real highlight for many.
From THOMSN, take the Talschlusszug train to the Lindlingalm. From there, the trail leads via the Ossmannalm up to the Saaljoch. Depending on the route, the ascent to the summit can be direct and somewhat more challenging, or you can take the standard trail. The higher you climb, the wider the view becomes. Once at the top, a panorama opens up that stretches far beyond the Glemmtal.
