The Saalbach Hiking Challenge
3 long-distance hikes, 64 kilometres, 3,800 metres of altitude. The “Saalbach Hiking Challenge” is a challenge for athletic pros. Those who can master the “Pinzgau walk”, the “Seven Summits” and the “Home of Lässig Walk” can take home their personal trophy. The prize is available at the tourist info in Saalbach - the summit successes will be checked either with the punch pliers at the checkpoints or very easy with the Summitlynx App on your smartphone.

Motor skills path in Saalbach Hinterglemm
An especially cool offer for fitness freaks and work-out buddies can be found along the Saalach river from Saalbach to the village part Jausern. On the ca. 4 kilometres long path, 24 stations will train your agility, balance and full body fitness. Those who are very motivated can jog to the starting point (ca. 4 km), everyone else can use the hiking bus to Saalbach or Jausern for free with the JOKER CARD.
Come down & feel free - forest wellness at the Reiterkogel
In a 200-year-old fir forest on 1,700 metres of altitude, the “Waldwellness” space with cool stations between more than 1,000 firs provide plenty of fresh air and a unique place to chill.
The yoga platforms in the middle of the clearing are equally popular as the comfortable loungers from local wood. Put your feet up and let your soul hang loose - feelgood feeling on the large hammocks!
